    Goodyear Truck
Tires
Need some
Goodyear truck tires? Goodyear truck tires can be used
for either a truck or an SUV. They have a variety of
different types of tires depending on what it is you’re
looking for. For instance, if you want tough tires,
you can go for their DuPont Kevlar tires, or if you want
traction, you can go with their tires that have
“TractiveGroove Technology”. In addition to that,
there are also Goodyear truck tires that are designed to
give you a quiet ride, these tires make use of Goodyear’s
“SilentArmor technology”. Finally, there is
all-weather traction available through their “TripleTred
technology”.
The good
thing about searching for Goodyear tires is their website
actually rates their own tires on a scale of 1 to 10 for dry
traction, wet traction, snow traction, off-road traction as
well as how quiet the ride is. By looking through the
tires based on those qualities, you can quickly get a sense
of what tires are good or bad for your purposes. They
also allow you to compare various tires together via the
compare button on their website.
Of course,
you shouldn’t only look at the Goodyear site for this kind
of information, you also want to find an unbiased source of
information so that you can be sure you’re getting the right
tires for you. I’ve found that if you type the name of
the tire you’re looking into followed by “review”, you can
often times find yourself some neutral reviews of the tire
in question which will better help you with your purchase
decision.
If the above
doesn’t work, you can also try checking out Amazon or
Epinions, both of those sites have some people who leave
reviews for various products.
Now as far
as which Goodyear truck tires you should be considering,
here’s a look at some of the tires and their ratings on the
Goodyear site:
Fortera Triple Tred – 3
Tread zones for increased traction in rain, ice or dry
environments
Dry Traction
= 10, Wet Traction = 10, Snow Traction = 10, Off-Road
Traction = 5, Quiet Ride = 8
Now if
you’re looking for something more for off-road use, here are
a few tires to consider:
Wrangler MT/R – Dry
Traction = 7, Wet Traction = 6, Snow Traction = 8, Off-Road
Traction = 10, Quiet Ride = 4
Wrangler MT/R with Kevlar
– Dry Traction = 8, Wet Traction = 7, Snow Traction = 7,
Off-Road Traction = 10, Quiet Ride = 5
Wrangler DuraTrac – Dry
Traction = 8, Wet Traction = 8, Snow Traction = 10, Off-Road
Traction = 9, Quiet Ride = 6
Now there
are many other Goodyear truck tires I could go over, but
I’ll leave it at that for now. Do make sure you do
some research of your own outside of the Goodyear site
before you make a final decision.
